In the past when purchasing a solid fuel slow combustion heater
there was only two options available to the home owner, either a
freestanding heater or an inbuilt heater which had to be installed
into an existing masonry fireplace.
Alpine Wood Heating now offers a third option, a fully tested and
approved Zero Clearance inbuilt heater giving the heater purchaser
the ability to install and inbuilt heater where traditionally only
a freestanding heater could be used. This has been accomplished
by manufacturing a heater, which can be positioned virtually touching
a combustible wall, and then building a stud framed chimney breast
around the heater. The building of the chimney breast can be easily
accomplished by the handy man leaving only the final installation
of the heater to be completed by a plumber. Different fascias and
cast iron inserts are available ensuring that all tastes are catered
for.
